Clayton Ng’ambwa is a seasoned business development and payments industry leader with over 20 years of experience spanning financial services, digital payments, remittances, card products, loyalty solutions, and business growth across East Africa. He currently serves as Country Manager for Kenya and Tanzania at Western Union, where he leads strategic growth initiatives, partner relationships, market expansion, and operational performance across two key markets.
Over the course of his career, Clayton has held leadership and management roles with organizations including Giift, Two Rivers Lifestyle Centre, Okapi Finance International, Nakumatt Holdings, and I&M Bank. His expertise includes cross-border money movement, payments innovation, banking partnerships, digital commerce, loyalty ecosystems, strategic sales, P&L management, and market development.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Clayton is a devoted family man and proud father who believes strongly in the power of family, mentorship, and community. Born and raised in the informal settlements of Mathare, Nairobi, he understands firsthand the challenges faced by underserved communities. His upbringing instilled resilience, determination, and a deep sense of purpose that continues to shape both his personal and professional life.
Passionate about youth development and wholesome community empowerment, Clayton is committed to creating opportunities that help young people realize their potential and contribute positively to society. He actively advocates for initiatives that promote financial inclusion, economic empowerment, leadership development, and sustainable community growth.
Clayton holds a Master’s degree in Development, Diplomacy and International Security and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Security Studies from Daystar University. He has also completed professional training in payments and card technologies through Visa and Mastercard programs, complementing his extensive industry experience with strong technical and commercial expertise.
Driven by a desire to create lasting impact, Clayton continues to leverage his leadership, industry knowledge, and life experiences to advance business growth while contributing meaningfully to the communities he serves.

Peter Durito is an seasoned peacebuilding and development practitioner with over 15 years of expertise in humanitarian, development, and conflict sensitivity programming. His work spans program design, implementation, management, conflict analysis, research, strategic leadership, and institutional development. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty in the Department of Peace and International Studies at Daystar University, and a Partnerships and Programs Advisor at Horn of Africa and Middle East Institute.
Previously, Peter held leadership and advisory roles with DLCI, Hope Without Borders, the Canadian High Commission, and ALARM-Kenya. He is also a published author and contributor on topics including environmental justice, conflict, diplomacy, mediation, and peacebuilding.
In addition to his professional work, Peter is an accomplished facilitator with extensive experience in designing and delivering capacity-building trainings and workshops for diverse stakeholders. He is currently pursuing a PhD in International Studies at the University of Nairobi, a Master’s degree in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Daystar University.

Janet has extensive experience in strategic management and communications. She has more than 15 years’ experience in marketing, branding, communications and international development. She trains companies on communications, AI ethics and integration and disability inclusion. She holds a charter from the UK’ Institute of Public Relations and has been pursuing a master’s in business Analytics and AI. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing. She has worked in leading roles at the British High Commission and at Fairtrade Africa.

Julie Kelly is a graduate with a degree in International Development Studies from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2008, she spent a semester studying at Daystar University in Athi River, Kenya, and developed a deep love for the country, its people, and culture.
Julie is passionate about community service, children and youth mentorship, with prior experience in supporting inner city communities facing social and economic challenges. Julie has worked in contexts that creates safe and empowering spaces where young people can grow, thrive, and make positive life choices. Her work has included tutoring students, serving in church ministries, coordinating volunteer outreach programs, and organizing fundraising initiatives for Summer Camp that promote leadership, confidence, and personal growth among young people. Although she has not visited Kenya as often as she would like, the country remains close to her heart and she is honored to play a part in this special ministry.
Julie and her husband live in Indiana, USA, where she also works with children.

Dr. Judith Ogweno is an experienced educator and chaplain currently serving as a Teacher of English and School Chaplain at State House Girls’ High School in Nairobi, Kenya. With over thirty years of teaching experience, including twenty-five years in chaplaincy ministry, she has played a significant role in mentoring and spiritually nurturing young people. Before becoming Chaplain, she served faithfully as a Christian Union Patron, contributing greatly to student spiritual development.
Beyond the school environment, Dr. Ogweno has actively participated in high school ministry through organizations such as Victory Fellowship International, Nyanza Evangelists Team, and Pillar Daughters & Sturdy Oaks Sons. Her ministry has impacted students in Kenya and abroad.
Academically, she holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Nairobi, a Master’s degree in Education, as well as advanced training in Psychology and Child Development from Kenyatta University and Daystar University, respectively. She holds a specialized training in Leadership, Ethics, Corporate Accountability, Transformational Leadership, and Leading Change from institutions including International Leadership University, and Harvard Business School Online.
Dr. Ogweno also serves as Chairperson of the Nairobi Region of NACCK and sits on the YMCA Shauri Moyo Institute Board. She is passionate about empowering young people to discover and develop their God-given potential. She is married with two children and lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Millicent Oketch is a Nairobi-based international development professional with over a decade of experience managing donor-funded programmes across Eastern Africa. She has worked extensively with both multilateral and bilateral donors, leading complex, multi-country initiatives that drive sustainable impact across sectors.
She currently serves as a Senior Manager at a leading global consulting firm, where she heads the International Development team, supporting donor-funded projects across a network of over 100 offices worldwide. Previously she served as Head of Programmes at an international development firm, where she oversaw a multimillion-dollar portfolio and led a team of project managers across the region. Her expertise spans programme leadership, fundraising, and high-level stakeholder engagement, complemented by a strong professional network across East Africa.
Beyond her professional work, Millicent is passionate about giving back to the community. She is deeply committed to girls’ education and runs a mentorship programme for girls from vulnerable backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her young children, particularly biking, swimming, and reading.
Millicent holds an MBA from Davenport University, USA and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration from Daystar University, Kenya.
